WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) – Postal specialists met up at Catholic Charities Saturday to help “Stamp Out Hunger” over the Ohio Valley and America.
Nearby letter bearers gathered gifts from homes crosswise over Wheeling and conveyed them to Catholic Charities.
The nourishment gifts will be separated up and circulated to numerous distinctive offices.
“It positively is an entirely dynamic day, yet observing everything come in and seeing the products of what this group can unite to help those that are experiencing considerable difficulties is truly satisfying and wonderful to see,” said Corinne Chamberlin, outreach specialist for Catholic Charities.
This is the 26th year for the across the country sustenance drive activity.
“Stamp Out Hunger” is the country’s biggest single-day sustenance drive, and letter transporters across the nation have gathered in excess of 1.6 billion pounds of nourishment since its origin.
